Hugel

Hugel (Florent Hugel) is a French DJ and producer born in Marseille on December 14, 1987.

A key figure in the house and Afro-Latin music scene, he gained global recognition in 2018 with his viral remix of the famous song “Bella Ciao.”

From a family passionate about soul and funk, Florent Hugel began DJing at the age of 16, inspired by artists such as David Guetta and Laurent Garnier. Before his solo breakthrough, he cut his teeth on hip-hop projects and formed the duo KitSch 2.0. He gained widespread recognition by officially remixing major artists like J. Balvin, Charlie Puth, and Kungs, and subsequently scoring numerous international hits, such as “Morenita” and the 2024 smash “I Adore You.”

An Ibiza resident and a regular at the world’s biggest festivals (including Tomorrowland), he is now a leading figure in the “Latin House” genre.
